Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Island Oil Holdings has taken important steps toward integrating AI into its operations and strategic initiatives:
• AI Chatbot – Island Oil Agent:
Successfully deployed and integrated with Microsoft Teams, this tool provides instant access to manuals, procedures, and guidelines from the IHL Management System, streamlining internal knowledge sharing and significantly reducing response times.
• AI Productivity Tools:
Selected users have been granted access to Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT Plus for tasks such as chart generation and document drafting. A wider rollout is under evaluation, based on cost-benefit analysis.
• AI Awareness & Training:
Users have been introduced to AI technologies demonstrating how these can enhance productivity. In addition, training sessions and webinars have been provided on Microsoft Copilot, showcasing its integration with applications such as Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Future AI Implementation:
As data collection grows, both from internal operations and external subscriptions, we are better positioned to utilize predictive analytics.
