That growth started small, in a modest seaside apartment, as Island Oil — a founder, a handful of people, and a simple belief: look after people properly, and everything else follows. There was no fleet and no international footprint, only a commitment to earn trust one delivery at a time, stem by stem.
More than three decades later, that same commitment still defines us. What began with a few determined individuals has grown into an international energy group of over 500 people, onshore and offshore, with a presence across the world’s principal maritime hubs. A number of those early colleagues remain with us today, a reflection of the lasting relationships at the heart of our business.
Yet our story has never been measured in tonnes delivered or borders crossed. It is defined by why we do it. Behind every stem, every cargo and every port call is a business that depends on us to perform. In a market shaped by volatility and constant change, what our clients value most is not simply fuel.
